For the 2023 FIRST Global Challenge “Hydrogen Horizons”, Team Romania is represented by FTC 17713 | FRC 9001 Delta Force.
Delta Force’s story began in Romania, Arad, in 2018 when three students with a passion for technology decided to use their interests to become part of the change. A few years later, the team progressed impressively, gaining more and more members, becoming the first FIRST Robotics Competition team in Romania.
Our team is composed of four subteams to ensure a good organization: Hardware Design, Hardware Fabrication, Software and Marketing & PR, each led by an experienced team veteran. The subteams work together toward a common goal, to inspire and prove to the new generations that limits are meant to be challenged.
We strive to empower and inspire students to gain knowledge in the domains of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, preparing them for a bright future. Therefore we organize interactive workshops and demonstrative presentations in our school which are available to all students. We create a safe and ideal environment for youths to learn and develop their STEM skills.
In our current day, environmental issues are a global discussion. We are constantly looking for cleaner and safer ways to produce energy, hydrogen being one of them, as it offers us new ways of revolutionizing energy production and reducing carbon. We embark on a journey into the Hydrogen Horizons where we unravel the endless possibilities that lie beneath this element. We are honored to represent Romania in the FIRST Global Challenge!
