My name is Jair Patrick, and I’m 16 years old. Playing football and video gaming are two of my favorite hobbies. I enjoy robotics because it blends my interests in technology and problem solving. In the future, I wish to pursue a career in computing and/or robotics. In Singapore, I expect my team to perform well and place high in the rankings while also fostering collaboration and teamwork with other countries.
I am eighteen year old Tia Gun-Munro from the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Interior designing sparks my interest since I believe it would allow me to express myself in a variety of creative ways. My hobbies include Swimming, Travelling, Interacting with animals and learning new things. I was selected to represent my country as a part of the Robotics team because of my profound interest in modern technology and Robotics. This encourages me to think creatively and to construct and invent answers to issues in the real world. I intend to use this opportunity to further develop my skills in Robotics and to make my teachers, family and friends proud. On my journey to Singapore, I’m looking forward to meeting new people and creating lifelong memories.
Hey my name is Nicholai Williams and I’m seventeen years old. I am an avid football supporter and I enjoy drumming. I have always been fascinated by the advancements in technology and how every day tasks are made more convenient, so by participating in robotics I get a closer look at this. Given that I endeavour to enter the field of machine learning I seek to strengthen my base in programming and engineering by the end of the event.
My name is Daniela Duncan, I am 17 years old. My hobbies include reading, listening to music and exercising. I was selected to be a part of St.Vincent and the Grenadines robotics team because of my commitment to robotics and my passion for learning new things. I officially started my robotics journey in 2022, where I part took in the FIRST Global Challenge in Switzerland. It really piqued my interest in seeing other countries’ robots and their abilities. I look forward to using this year’s competition as a stepping stone to further my knowledge in computer programming and other aspects that come with it, like finding different ways to best build our robot.
