06 May Team Senegal 2023 🇸🇳
The Senegal robotics team, affiliated with The Senegalese American Bilingual School, is an outstanding team that excels in the “FIRST Global Challenge” competitions. This dynamic team has had the honor of representing Senegal in several prestigious editions of this competition, including:
1. In 2018, in Mexico.
2. In 2019, in Dubai.
3. In 2022, in Geneva.
Composed of five talented and dedicated members, here is the list of these robotics enthusiasts:
– Sidy Ahmed Mboup, in 10th grade.
– Mouhamed Pascal Cissé, in 10th grade.
– Adja Diodio Mbenga, in 11th grade (Scientific track).
– Lancet Cissé, in 11th grade (Scientific track).
– Oumou Khairy Thioye, in 11th grade (Scientific track).
These young minds are committed to tackling challenging technological problems and actively contribute to the promotion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in Senegal. They are guided and supervised by two dedicated teachers:
– Mr. Bakhoum, Physics-Chemistry teacher.
– Mr. Koma, Computer Science teacher.
The Senegal robotics team proudly represents their country in the field of robotics and demonstrates an unwavering passion for technological innovation and hands-on learning.
