Students

Muinkhon Nabiev:
I was born in Khujand, a city known for its breathtaking beauty and innovations, located in Tajikistan. As a child, I was filled with boundless energy and a thirst for discovery. Engaging in various activities like games and TV, I constantly sought out new experiences and knowledge. It was during a visit to my father’s company that my fascination with technology and invention was ignited. Witnessing an autonomous machine operating seamlessly without human control sparked my curiosity, prompting me to delve into the intricacies of how such machines were designed and operated.

From that day forward, I immersed myself in videos and resources about “Inventions and Innovation,” eagerly absorbing knowledge about cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, I developed a keen interest in mathematics, participating in prestigious competitions like the Kangaroo Competition, International STEM Olympiad, and International Copernicus Mathematics Olympiad. These experiences have sharpened my mathematical skills and further fueled my passion for problem-solving.

Looking ahead, I aspire to leverage Artificial Intelligence to make a positive impact on my community. I firmly believe in the power of perseverance and continuous learning. In my pursuit of knowledge, I recognize that there is no limit to how much one can learn. I embrace new challenges and approach them with unwavering determination, always striving to expand my horizons.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the FIRST Global Challenge, as it aligns perfectly with my passion for innovation and technology. I am eager to collaborate with brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds and work together towards creating solutions that address real-world problems. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the betterment of society by harnessing the potential of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Yosuman Fozilova:
I study at the Presidential School in the 11th grade. I am a highly active teenager with various interests. I enjoy creative activities, learning languages, and reading books. But what truly excites me is robotics. Anything related to this field sparks my curiosity and makes me want to learn more. Whenever I create something new, I can’t wait to share it with others and inspire more people to explore the world of robotics. I am incredibly excited to participate in the upcoming challenge. It’s a dream come true to test my skills, collaborate with talented individuals, and showcase my hard work on a global stage. I eagerly look forward to the challenge and am excited to push the boundaries of innovation in robotics. Participating in this prestigious event fills me with joy. I am excited to meet fellow enthusiasts, share ideas, and together, we will inspire and revolutionize the field of robotics one step at a time.

Emomali Kutbiddinov:
With a strong interest in IT and robotics, I’m a student at Lyceum for Gifted Students, now in my tenth grade. I can effectively communicate with a variety of people thanks to my great communication abilities. I have always loved to make different electronics-related items. My primary interests include learning new languages, reading books, and inventing new things. Made of Lego Mindstorm, “Robo2” was my first DIY robot. When I was nine years old, I began learning robotics, and I knew then that nothing could stop me from pursuing my aspirations. I had a constant desire to develop something novel and uncharted that would benefit people. Looking forward to the new FIRST Global Challenge experience!

Ms. Madina Pulotova is director of Public Organization (PO) Jahoni Mo and former coordinator at American Space Khujand, Tajikistan. Her main responsibilities include managing PO’s daily internal activities: as administrative, logistics, recruiting new employees and screening applications for new employees as well as supervising including team sized 2-3 people. During her experience as American Space Coordinator, Madina was responsible for managing all program related activities including designing, coordinating and implementing over 100 programs per year, and served as a point of contact with the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan for AS related programming

In 2013 Madina received her Master’s degree in “Accounting and audit”. Had participated in training for AS coordinators in Vienna, Austria and learned strategies on running an effective AS in Khujand. With financial support of an American NGO “Spirit of America” managed moving the American Space to a location three times larger than previous and now offering two times more programs publicly. Established a very strong partnership with local IT businesses to offer technology-based workshops to unemployed populations, which resulted participants to get well paid jobs, organized and managed first innovative Job-fair 2019, where 20 potential companies opened up job applications for over 300 job seekers, organized several Hackathons to generate ideas on how to solve community issues through technology, organized series of Lego Robotics workshops for students, pioneered students’ participation in the FIRST Global robotics Challenge in Dubai, Geneva and Lego Robotics competitions in Hungary and Dushanbe.

She is focused on digital education and empowering youth through STEM. While being Humphrey Fellow her main focus was to establish a network with American counterparts to enhance nonprofit administrative and project management skills as well as bring more innovative ideas in the field of STEM and education back to Tajikistan. Madina had an opportunity to have her professional affiliation in one of the organizations based in State College and gain necessary skills and knowledge to empower herself as the non-profit leader.
