OguzRobot(O3) = Past, Present and Future

O1 – Past:
Everything started with a forwarded email about invitation to the FIRST Global Olympics-style robotics competition in Washington DC, USA in 2017. A teacher and 3 students from Turkmenistan headed to the USA to represent our country in inaugural year of the FIRST Global Challenge with another 157 nations. The competition helped to grow robotics enthusiasts all over the world. Team Turkmenistan, after returning home, did the first ever Robotics Week in Turkmenistan. With the drive of Robotics and other related projects, our team gained the name of TelpeX Robot, and won a gold medal in FGC 2018 and 2019. With the success of our national team, our team was renamed to OguzRobot, which defines our history with what we do. OguzRobot kept growing as we have more than 100 members now. Our alumni are studying in universities in different countries, yet dl not forget about their journey through FGC.

O2 – Present:
As of now OguzRobot keeps growing. Now we have a nationally famous Robotics Club. Our club members and mentors help to organize nationwide robotics competitions, give consultations to all interested parties. Our Instagram page has more than 1000 followers all over the world. We have our website.

O3 – Future:
Five of our members will represent our nation in 2023, Singapore, namely, Shatlyk Bashiyev, Shatlyk Batyrov, Batyr, Merdan and Muhammetnur. All of them are winners of various national and international robotics and science competitions. Our team members continue to educate and help the new generation with “Generation to Generation by OguzRobot.” Since the start of FGC, understanding of technological advances, human resources of the world, the future is bright for all of us…
