Team Argentina 2024 🇦🇷

Greetings, F1RST Global Challenge team, we are Argentina´s National Team and this is our biography. We are a squad composed by five students, Cesar Alejandro Estrada Dubor (17 years old), Lucas Nehuen Savanco Trento (16 years old), Simón Agustín Mocayar Tonn (16 years old), Sol Martinez Bugtrup (17 years old) and Jana Mednis Viapiana (17 years old); and two professors, Facundo Matías Mugetti (39 years old) and Martín Lucas Fernández Macri (48 years old), all coming from San Luis, Argentina, a small province in the middle of the country.

Our competition name is “Pucará” which means “strength” and “resilience” in a native tongue from the southwest of Argentina called Quechua. And our robot, “K´ara”, in the same language, stands for “hero”.

We are immensely thrilled to be involved in this year’s competition since feeding is a delicate topic for us Argentinians, due to the hard crisis the country is going through. We are happy to deal with the pressure of representing our country, and we will put our best effort to leave “K´ara” at the top. It is also encouraging to be learning about new ways to help our community through technology and international cooperation.

We cannot wait to show what we got to the world and to catch on other team’s strategies and original ideas to achieve the same results.

See you soon! Thank you.

Thank you to our supporters!
