Team Members
Tobias (Toby) is a 5th year student at the college in Villach, Austria – his main interests are in the fields of Cyber Security and programming on embedded systems. The participation of his friends at the 2023 FGC, as well as being able to help them design and construct their robot allowed him to gain some insight into the competition and robotics in general.
Adam is with 18 years old a student at the technical college in Villach, Austria. His hobbies lie in playing piano, tinkering, as well as coding. The role he will play in our team is the role of the driver, a core member of the software team and helping with building Steeeve. His interest in robotics awakened when he saw the team of the prior FGC-robotics competition and the bot they built.
Martin is an 18-year-old 5th grade student at the higher technical college in Villach, Austria. His main interests are programming and building some electrical stuff. His roles in the team will be driving and building the robot. His interest in being part of this team is because he saw the Team/robot from last year and wanted to join this team this year.
Luka is 18 years old and an apprentice mechatronics technician at Lam Research in Villach. He enjoys building with LEGO Technic. His role on the team is the mechanical part of robot construction. He is interested in participating because he loves challenges.
Richard is also 18 years old and an apprentice mechatronics technician at Lam Research in Villach. He discovered his interest in robot construction while building with LEGO Technic. His role on the team is to help develop the mechanical structure of the robot.
Team Mentors
Stefanie and Stefan provide critical support to the team by assisting with technical questions that arise during the construction of the robot. Our role involves troubleshooting issues, offering guidance on technical challenges, and ensuring that the design and construction processes align with our project goals.
Additionally, we take on various organizational tasks, such as coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring effective communication among team members. This helps maintain a smooth workflow and allows the team to focus on innovation and problem-solving as we work towards building a successful robot.
