Benin, a gem in West Africa, is making strides towards sustainable development through innovative resource management and a deep appreciation for its cultural heritage. Our nation’s commitment to progress is mirrored in our participation in the FIRST Global Challenge.

Our team is a vibrant group of young innovators, aged 14-18, driven by a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Outside the lab, we thrive on creativity through music, literature, sports, and gaming.

This year, the FIRST Global Challenge invites us to tackle the theme of Sustainable Food Systems. In a world where food security and sustainable agricultural practices are critical, we are excited to develop solutions that ensure equitable access to resources and promote environmental stewardship. Inspired by our government’s initiatives in renewable energy and sustainable development, we aim to apply our skills to create impactful, practical solutions for households and communities.

Guided by our dedicated and supportive mentors, we are confident that our teamwork, creativity, and perseverance will lead us to success. More than just competing, we are eager to learn, grow, and bring back knowledge that will contribute to a sustainable future for Benin and beyond.
