Hello, my name is Viktor. I’m 16 years old and I enjoy watching YouTube, playing video games, training in kickboxing, hanging out with my friends, and, of course, robotics! Robotics is fantastic because it helps us work as a team, which strengthens our friendship.

Alexander
My name is Alex. I love spending time outdoors and playing video games. I’m also interested in robotics and work on it in my free time. These hobbies energize and inspire me.

Simeon
Greetings, my name is Simeon. I am 15 years old and from the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. I love doing things that involve technology and sports. I think robotics is very interesting because I enjoy being creative and finding new ways to solve specific issues. I like to spend my free time with my family and friends doing fun activities.

Mario
Hi, I am Mario and I’m 15 years old and I like Star Wars, movies and playing games. Robotics makes us work as a team and that’s great for our friendship.

Team
We are four students from Bulgaria – Mario, Alex, Victor and Simeon following our encouraging mentors Angel and Todor. We come from Sofia, Bulgaria and we are very exited to be part of this year’s FIRST Global Challenge. As a result of that we have various technological interests that we can use as a team.

What makes the competition interesting for us is the fact it helps us gain more knowledge and develop ourselves in the process. This year’s topic, “Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future,” is very important to us because we believe that new energy sources can make life better for everyone.

For us, the FIRST Global Challenge is not just about winning but also about meeting new friends from around the world. Sharing ideas, learning from other teams and having fun are what we expect during the event.
