The Egypt team for the 2024 FIRST Global Challenge in Athens, Greece, is a diverse group of talented young robotics enthusiasts. The team is led by Omar Ossama, a seasoned competitor who has participated in numerous robotics competitions. His most recent achievement was winning first place in the RoboCup Junior Egypt, which qualified him to compete in the RoboCup 2024 in Eindhoven in the soccer open weight category.

Ahmed Ossama, another key team member, has a strong background in electronics and Arduino, having competed in both VEX and RoboCup Junior. His technical expertise and hands-on experience make him an invaluable asset to the team, particularly in the design and programming aspects of their robot.

Maya Mohamed, Khadija, and Retaj round out the team with their extensive experience in various robotics competitions. Maya has competed in WRO, FLL, and RCJ, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the team. Meanwhile, Khadija and Retaj have honed their skills with LEGO EV3, participating in numerous competitions and contributing to the team’s strong foundation in robotics. Together, this team is well-prepared to represent Egypt on the international stage at the FIRST Global Challenge.
