This isn’t just another FIRST Global robotics team in eSwatini. But very well we are working on a linear motion arm, a drivetrain, and a robot software. But this isn’t just a robotics team. This is a lesson in humility, hard work, and collaboration. This is a class foot workout, for the muscle upstairs. This is an apple, for the next generation of nutrients. It’s a lot of things, but this isn’t just a robotics team.

This is a road map that leads straight to engineering, astronomy, Biomedical scientist, etc. This is a rock to shatter a million glass ceilings; A rope to pull eSwatini youth up and out of poverty; A sledgehammer to break down cultural, and socio-economic, barriers; And a lantern, lighting the way for our communities. And because of that, this is a compass that can help point the way to peace, and prosperity.

But please, don’t think this is just another FIRST Global Robotics Team.

This is Glastonbury for Technology. This is mission control for the next moonshot. This is a Rosetta Stone to help translate the future (of eSwatini Youth). This is a Spot Team that will help us win tomorrow. This is a software to program ourselves to treat cancer, build a clean engine or step foot on Mars. But this isn’t just a robotics team.

It’s a machine that will help build the youth of eSwatini today for the unknow world of tomorrow. It’s a machine to build our youth that may not, perhaps, change the world, but will make our world, The Kingdom of eSwatini, a better place to live in.
