Team Ethiopia has been a consistent and dedicated participant in the FIRST Global Challenge since its inception in 2017. Over the years, the team has showcased remarkable growth, innovation, and a commitment to representing Ethiopia on the global stage.

This year, our passionate students: Tsion Fitsum, Mikias Tewodros, Kaleb Ermias, Salome Birhanu, Dagmawi Tewodros, and Abegiya Fitsum – are fueled by a mission to tackle global food security challenges. They, along with their experienced mentors, Elias Ketema, Dagmawi Girum, and Noah Getachew, are deeply invested in understanding food production, food waste reduction, and innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

Our passion and dedication serve as an inspiration to students around the world. Our commitment to addressing global food security issues through innovative STEM solutions is a testament to the power of young minds when they come together for a common cause.
