Coming from a small group of islands in the South Pacific, Team BulaBots 2024 is incredibly esteemed to have the privilege of representing our noble banner blue. The team consists of 4 girls and 2 boys with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, our different skill sets and ideas come together to innovate solutions to prevalent problems in our country, and around small island nations such as food supply and management.

Team BulaBots from Fiji believes that the solutions lie in integrating traditional knowledge and innovative technology, along with the global community’s support. We believe that no one is in this fight alone. As such, we are glad to be taking part in this competition organized by FIRST Global, whose values align with ours. Team Fiji is passionate about learning technologies that support sustainable food systems and spread awareness within their communities to improve the economic and environmental sustainability of food production.

Our country has made many strides to keep producing fresh, organic and natural food products. The governments past have passed legislation to protect our land, sea, and skies, as well as provided incentives for businesses and individuals to do the same. Due to our geographical location, we can take full advantage of natural resources for sustainable food support.
