This year 2024 Team Gabon is represented by the Club STEM & ROBOTICS – ISPP. This is a new club that we opened only a few months ago at the PROCCL Institute of Health and Polytechnics (ISPP). This higher education establishment, which agreed to receive us, is part of the PROCCL complex including a primary school, a scientific and technological high school and a clinic. The PROCCL clinic receives ISPP students for internships, but also for certain practical work. Our ambition is to introduce robotics and STEM to more and more students and young people in our country. Within the complex our activity is only just beginning. This year again the club welcomes pupils and students from different establishments in Libreville, the capital of the country. But most come from the PROCCL Scientific and Technological High School. Below, some students from Team Gabon 2024 wanted to present themselves individually.

Yo! I am KHENAATON, 15 years old and I am in 1st science year. I am a representative of Team Gabon. I like football, RAP US, reading and video games. Since I was little, robotics has always fascinated me. It has always intrigued me to build robots for the good of humanity. It is an honor for me to participate in this competition and I will give everything so that my country can win it.

Hello, my name is Jacques, I am 16 years old and I am Gabonese. In Gabon, more precisely in Libreville, I learn at CALASANZ college in 1st year literary class. In everyday life, my favorite activity is basketball. I love robotics because I find it fascinating to see how the world can evolve thanks to robots and their technologies. I am very proud and honored to represent my country in this competition and I hope that we will win it because winning it would show that our country has things to say and do in the African contribution to technological progress.

Hi, I’m Frédéric, I’m 16 years old and I’m in 1st science year. I am Gabonese and a member of Team Gabon. Since my childhood, I have loved everything robotics and computers. When I grow up, I would like to be a computer engineer. Today I have the honor of participating in the FIRST Global Challenge competition to defend my country Gabon and I am proud of it.

Hey, I’m Alvine, I’m 15 years old and I’m in 1st science year. I am of Gabonese origin, I like football and robotics. Since I was little, I have had a passion for robotics, I love different coding and circuits. Today, I have the honor of participating in the FIRST Global Challenge competition to defend my country Gabon.

Good morning! My name is Corneille, I am 18 years old, I study at the BIKELE technical high school. I like robotics, and later I would like to work as an engineer in AI (artificial intelligence) and digital marketing. I am from Team Gabon and I am proud to represent my country Gabon at FIRST Global Challenge.

Hi, I am Elisabeth junior from Team Gabon, I am 15 years old and I am in 1st science class. I really like mathematics, English and especially physics. Since I watched a series about robots, I decided that I would become a robotics engineer when I grew up. This is why I am very happy to participate in this competition and specially to represent my country Gabon.

Hello!! I’m Juste Lazare, I’m 16 years old. I am a young Gabonese who really likes robotics. This is my second participation in FIRST Global Challenge.
