Team Ireland 2024 🇮🇪

Team Ireland is composed of 15 talented and enthusiastic students, from all over the country, who have all chosen to proudly represent our nation in this year’s FIRST Global Challenge, to be held in Greece. We utilise our diverse backgrounds and experiences, ranging from urban technology enthusiasts to rural farming experts, to provide a unique perspective to the team.

This year’s theme ’Feeding The Future’ resonates strongly with us due to Ireland’s strong dependence on farming and agriculture not only for its importance to the Irish economy, but also for its benefits to the environment and the surrounding communities. This competition has given us the opportunity to deepen our sense of appreciation and further our understanding of these sectors. We understand that their sustainability is crucial to the stability and evolution of our nation. Utilising our Team’s expertise and taking advantage of the advancements in robotics and science, we aim to innovate new technology within these sectors, finding solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimise environmental impact. By incorporating cutting-edge technologies into our farming methods, we hope to build a more resilient and sustainable future, not only for Ireland but also for the world.
