We are Team Kazakhstan, a group of highly motivated and experienced robotics champions. Our team has a proud history at the FIRST Global Challenge (FGC), boasting two Grand Challenge Award Gold Medals. This year, we aim to continue that tradition by putting our full effort into our robot and embracing the principles of Gracious Professionalism as we engage with the global FIRST community.

FIRST Programs are operated by the Public Fund “USTEM Foundation” in Kazakhstan. The fund is focused on developing STEM education, increasing human capital and empowering the young generation.

Doszhan, our captain and lead builder, is renowned for his unwavering courage and confidence in any situation. When he’s not working on the robot, you’ll find him honing his skills in horseback riding or immersing himself in the works of his favorite Kazakh writer, Abay. His love for Beshbarmak and Qazy, traditional Kazakh dishes, reflects his deep pride in our national heritage.

Yerdaulet, the team’s programmer, is a master of overengineering, with over three years of experience in coding. When he’s not battling bugs, he channels his energy at the gym, where he releases any frustration with every lift.

Nurzhan is our CAD expert, capable of tackling the most complex analyses and calculations. For him, 3D modeling is not just a task but a pathway to tranquility—a Zen-like state of focus. Outside of CAD, he’s passionate about soccer and apples, bringing a refreshing balance to our team.

Dastan, our skilled driver, astonishes everyone with his lightning-fast reflexes on the field. When he’s not navigating the robot, he indulges in game development and 3D art, allowing his creativity to shine.

Alfiya, our handbook engineer, is unmatched in her attention to detail, meticulously observing every aspect of the building and programming process. When there’s nothing to document, she enjoys diving into books across a wide range of genres.

Together, as Team Kazakhstan, we believe that the destiny of this season is in our hands, as long as we remain consistent and committed to daily improvement. We can’t wait to meet you at FGC 2024 in Athens, and we wish all teams the best of luck!
