Team Kosovo 2024 🇽🇰

Përshëndetje (Hi) everyone! Meet this year’s dynamic and ambitious team from Kosovo: Leona Hajrizi, Era Nura, Harisa Haziri and Amar Rama. Our team is under the mentoring of Elita Hajrizi, Arxhend Jetullahu, Ylli Rexhaj and Redon Rexhepi. As we go through this journey to represent Kosovo, we are excited and ready to showcase our skills driven by the shared purpose of learning new things and having fun while we’re at it.

Besides STEM and robotics, we have different hobbies and passions, so get to know us a little:

Leona is thrilled to be participating in the FIRST Global Challenge for the second time. FGC has only deepened her love for robotics, and she’s excited to dive back in! But robotics isn’t her only passion, she also loves being creative with art and fashion, reading books, singing and watching Formula 1 races. She loves learning new languages, which helps her connect with people from different cultures. So if you see her, don’t forget to teach her a phrase or two in your language!

Era is a high school student at UBT. In her free time, she loves reading, spending time with her family and exploring activities that broaden her knowledge, particularly in robotics and other tech-related fields. She finds her first time participating in FGC an amazing experience that will help her to further improve her skills and connect with others who share her interests. She also loves traveling and is beyond excited to meet all of you.

Harisa is an 18 year old student at UBT University. She loves playing volleyball and going to the gym and uses both of them as a therapy session. She is a graphic designer and a beginner programmer. She loves baking little cakes and gives very warm hugs. She is really passionate about robotics and everything that it has to offer. Another fact about her is that she has more motivation to work through music than when it’s in silence and last but not least she loves making international friends and can’t wait to see you in Greece!

Amar is a 16-year-old with a passion for programming. Growing up, he always had technology around him, and his curiosity about how things work led to his interests in computers at a young age. He wrote his first lines of code at 10, and since then, programming has become his main passion. He also loves playing basketball and enjoys learning new things about astronomy.

Our journey to the FIRST Global Challenge is supported by University of Business and Technology (UBT), which makes it all possible for us to participate in this prestigious event and represent our country in the best way possible.
We are more than ready to put Kosovo in the highest pedestals of robotics. Let’s take on this opportunity with enthusiasm and most importantly, enjoy every moment of this incredible experience!

Can’t wait to meet you all in Greece! Shihemi!

Thank you to our supporters!
