Team Nigeria is a tight-knit group of thirteen students, aged 14 to 18, guided by five dedicated coaches and a mentor with a deep passion for robotics. Based in Lagos and originating from diverse regions across Nigeria, we’ve honed our skills through intensive sessions in brainstorming, prototyping, and skill-building, learning essential lessons in communication, teamwork, and leadership along the way.

The theme of this year’s FIRST Global Challenge, “Feeding the Future,” resonates deeply with us. In Nigeria, agriculture is integral to our society, driving us to develop robotics solutions that enhance agricultural productivity, improve food distribution systems, and promote sustainable farming practices nationwide.

Beyond competition, our mission is to inspire the next generation of Nigerian youth in STEM. We aim to show them that STEM education is a gateway to solving real-world challenges and fostering positive change in our communities. As Team Nigeria, we are committed to showcasing our innovations, representing Nigeria proudly, and ensuring all Nigerian youth have access to robotics, STEM education, nutritious food, and opportunities to thrive.
