STUDENTS

Komilova Mahdiyakhon: My name is Komilova Mahdiyakhon, and I am 14 years old. I was born in Khujand, Tajikistan, and I study at the Ahmadi Donish School. I love studying technology and science. Since childhood, I have been interested in working with robotics and technical creativity, which is the first step towards inventive design and rationalization activities. I am trying to develop my skills to make a contribution in this field. This led me to be a part of Technovation Girls Tajikistan, where we as a team of girls propose ideas and develop them to products that solve community issues. I am confident that I can contribute to the world of technology. I am especially interested in robotics, because I believe it has the potential to solve many everyday issues and improve our quality of life. With the growing importance of IT in Tajikistan, I see a great opportunity to be a part of this transformation. In the future, I hope to create innovative solutions that can help improve people’s lives and contribute to the technological development of my country. Let me convey a thankful note to the all FIRST Global team for making this event happen for all of us, for youth who are striving to make this world a better place to leave for other generations, thank you!

Mansurova Niginakhon: I am Mansurova Niginakhon, born in the industrial city of Isfara in the Northern part of Tajikistan, which is famous for its great writers, doctors, musicians and scientists. Since childhood I have lived and studied in Khujand. From the very beginning I wanted to learn something new, expand my horizons and always tried to create something interesting. My goal to study Robotics was born when my older brother participated in the Robotics Olympiad in Switzerland. And then, I realized that I definitely want to learn more about the world of robotics. I study at the Presidential School, and there I participated in many different Olympiads and competitions such as “Kangaroo”, “IMAS”, “Math Challenge”, as well as school Olympiads. My hobbies: reading books, learning new languages. And now, I want to make my own robot. I’m a teenager with different interests and passion to work in a team. I also want to contribute to society, using the potential of artificial intelligence and new technologies. I am thankful for the opportunity to open up new horizons for myself through this amazing challenge!

Mamadjonova Zebokhon: My name is Mamadzhonova Zebokhon and I am glad to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Tajikistan, Khujand. I study at the 15th school. Since childhood I have been interested in technology and science. I have always been fascinated by robotics. I am interested in exploring new technologies, creating automated systems and robots that can simplify and improve people’s lives. I am convinced that robotics is not only an exciting research, but also a promising industry capable of bringing innovation to various fields of life. I strive to develop my skills and knowledge in this field in order to contribute to the creation of smart and efficient solutions based on robotics. I am sure that my passion for robotics will help me achieve great success and make a significant contribution to this innovative field of technology. This desire brought me to participate on technovation girls Tajikistan project, where I learned new skills and developed an app to solve community issues. I am more than happy to represent my country in this global event. Thank you FIRST Global!

Bahritidinov Ibrohim: I was born in 2008 in Asht, Tajikistan. I’m currently in the 9th grade at the Russian-Tajik State Budgetary Educational Institution “Secondary School with In-Depth Study of Individual Subjects in the City of Khujand Named After A.P. Chekhov.”
With a keen interest in IT and development, math, science, and robotics, I have been studying and practicing IT for the past five years. During this time, I’ve participated in various IT and math olympiads as well as IT hackathons, gaining valuable experience and honing my skills. Additionally, I served as a mentor for a robotics course at the American Space in Khujand, and am now successfully completing the course and sharing my knowledge with others. My journey in these fields continues to inspire me as I strive to achieve my goals and contribute to technological advancements. I truly believe this opportunity will open up new doors for me in the nearest future.

Babajanov Azizjon: I am Babajanov Azizjon Azimdzhonovich and I was born in Khujand. I am a student at school #9. I was a participant in robotics courses at the American Space Khujand as well as enhanced my robotics skills at Technopark at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics – Peshsaf program and earned a certificate. I love sports, particularly karate and my Coach is Joe Chun Si Vadim. I am excited to be a part of this team and represent my country in Athens.
Technical Mentor: I am Nilufar Rahmatulloeva, born in the beautiful city called Khujand. Since 2020, I have been the coordinator of the IT Club in the public organization Office of Civil Freedom. I started my journey into the IT field by studying front-end development. After learning the basics of creating websites, I became interested in mobile development. Now I have been creating mobile applications for Android for more than three years, and have published more than 10 applications in the Play Market. In addition to the field of mobile development, I am also interested in studying the field of digital security as a hobby. I organize and conduct master classes and training on programming. I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to become part of the FIRST Global Challenge, as it is a new experience, new ideas and inspiration for me. I am passionate about collaborating and connecting with brilliant minds from across the world and working together to create solutions that help solve real-world problems. My goal is to contribute to the betterment of society by harnessing the potential of modern technology.

Mentor: Ms. Madina Pulotova is director and CEO of Public Organization Jahoni Mo and former coordinator at American Space Khujand, Tajikistan. At Jahoni Mo, Madina oversees daily internal activities: administrative, logistics, recruitment and supervising a team of employees and volunteers. As American Space Coordinator Madina was responsible for managing program-related activities, and served as a point of contact with the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan. Madina received her Master’s degree in Accounting and Audit. She has participated in training for AS coordinators in Vienna, Austria and learned strategies on running an effective AS in Khujand. In 2011 Madina was nominated to be a part of International Visitor Leadership program (U.S.Department of State program) -titled “Youth leadership”. This was a life changing experience for her which inspired her to design and imo innovative programs such as Hackathons, Job fairs and web-design classes for a wider audience. In 2021 Madina was selected to represent Tajikistan at Penn State University through one of the prestigious and competitive programs of the U.S. Department of State, The Institute of International Education – Hubert Humphrey Fellowship program. During her Humphrey Fellowship she was focused on digital education, HR management, and technology education for girls. Her main focus as a Humphrey Fellow was to establish a network with American counterparts to enhance nonprofit administrative and project management skills as well as bring more innovative ideas in the field of STEM and education back to Tajikistan. Madina had her professional affiliation in two non profits in the U.S. and bolstered her expertise in the field managing and leading non profit organization. Today Madina through her leadership and commitment to community service empowers women and girls through projects that equips them with IT skills. The project titled “Empowering women in rural areas through IT and well-being” which is being funded by The Office of the Roving Ambassador of Finland in Central Asia brings hope to women and girls filling the gender gap. At PO Jahoni mo, Madina also develops programs to encourage youth to get STEM education, specifically through REV robotics programs. Madina is super excited to represent Tajikistan in the global context, ensuring students have equal access to technology education and collaboration through such global challenges and opportunities.
