As Team Türkiye, we are a group of five students from different parts of our country, coming together in Istanbul, united by our unique talents and skills. With the guidance of our mentor, we are thrilled to have the honor of representing our nation at this year’s FIRST Global Challenge in Athens.

Each of us has had the opportunity to grow and develop through participation in competitions organized by FIRST, such as the FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition. Through these experiences, we have deeply embraced the values of FIRST and have committed ourselves to spreading these values within our communities for years.

Our country, which has hosted many different civilizations throughout history, boasts a rich cultural heritage and a diverse, vibrant cuisine. This year’s theme is closely related to these attributes, and we are dedicated to raising awareness about sustainable food practices, first in our own country, and then globally.

Furthermore, we believe that robotics is a sport, and we pursue our efforts with great determination in this direction. As we continue to design the robot that will compete in the upcoming challenge, we are also sharing our coding, mechanical, and electronic skills, acquired through previous FIRST competitions, with our environment under the STEM umbrella. Get ready for us, Athens – we’re coming!
