Team Uganda is thrilled to participate in this year’s FIRST Global Challenge, an opportunity that aligns perfectly with our passion for STEM and innovation. Our team comprises talented students from various schools in Uganda, each with a deep interest in science, technology, and problem-solving. Guided by our experienced mentors, Jossy Nasasira and Carolyne Ekyarisiima, we have been preparing diligently to address this year’s theme of sustainable food production, a challenge that resonates with us deeply as we recognize the critical need for equitable, safe, and environmentally responsible food systems.

This year’s theme is particularly significant to us as it highlights the importance of creating a sustainable future for all. By engaging in this competition, we hope to contribute to global solutions while fostering our own growth in STEM fields. The FIRST Global Challenge inspires us to think beyond borders, collaborate with peers worldwide, and use our skills to make a positive impact on our communities and the world. We are excited to showcase our innovations and learn from other teams, united by a shared goal of addressing one of the 21st century’s most pressing issues.
