22 May Team United States of America 2024 🇺🇸
Team United States of America consists of students from freshmen to seniors from FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 12791, “Iterative Intentions,” at Flower Mound High School in Texas. Our passion for robotics has motivated us for years, dedicating countless hours to learning, teaching, and competing in robotics competitions.
We have competed at the FIRST World Championship for the past three years, earning numerous awards. This year, we achieved a significant milestone by winning the prestigious Inspire Award at the World Championship, qualifying our team to represent our country.
Our commitment extends beyond competitive achievements. We are dedicated to promoting STEM within our community. Through outreach events, we aim to educate and inspire young minds about the exciting possibilities in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Our initiatives include raising STEM awareness and mentoring new FIRST teams across our community’s elementary, middle, and high schools, ensuring that the passion for STEM continues to grow and thrive.
This year marks our debut as Team United States of America, and we are filled with excitement and anticipation. The theme for this year, “Feeding the Future,” focuses on creating a sustainable food system, which is crucial for environmental health, public well-being, economic stability, social justice, and overall resilience in our communities.
We eagerly look forward to connecting with other FIRST Global teams worldwide, applying our knowledge and creativity, collaborating with other teams to find innovative solutions that can make a real difference, and building lasting relationships.
