We are Team Uruguay. We are a team of 4 students: Cami, Fran, Anita and Cande, our coach Agustín and our mentors Sergio and Alicia. We are from Liceo de Migues in Canelones, Uruguay; a place where robotics is part of our culture and where we started participating in FLL competitions organized by CEIBAL about 5 years ago, and where we have taken part in several Computer Science programs. From that moment on, FIRST has allowed us to share our passions, to work on our STEM skill and to make new long-lasting friends.

We are proud to represent our country at the 2024 FIRST Global Challenge and, because we are from a small rural town, we are truly excited about this year’s theme “Feeding the future”. We believe that technology and innovation are key to improve on the world’s food production and distribution systems.

While working together we have learned to take the best out of each other, making our team better than the mere sum of its parts. We are eager to participate in this challenge and to continue sharing our experiences hoping to generate a positive impact on the world.
