Hello everyone! We are Team Venezuela and we will be participating in the 2024 FIRST Global Challenge in Athens, Greece. It is an honor to be part of this competition, which not only promotes STEAM education but also provides us with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and collaborate with young innovators from around the world. We are very excited to meet people from different countries and create memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Over the years, Team Venezuela has been characterized by our energetic and cheerful attitude, which has led us to achieve various accomplishments along our journey, of which we are very proud. Among these are the acquisition of 6 medals, including the Albert Einstein Award in Singapore during the 2023 FIRST Global Challenge.

To select the members of our team, we organized the largest robotics competition in the country, the Copa Ka’i 2024, where 348 students from both public and private schools participated. Through this event, we chose the 5 best prospects who stood out for their unique yet complementary skills and aspirations towards the rest of the team, demonstrating that robotics is a sport of cooperation, brotherhood, excitement, and passion.

Team Venezuela has come with a single purpose: to inspire not only Venezuela but the entire world, guiding them on a path where, through tools like technology, we can create young “technologists,” that is, young people with a mindset for change who solve problems both in their communities and globally.
We are excited to share our message and to increase the number of young people around the world who join our campaign to promote robotics, not just as a sport but as a way of life.
