Team Zimbabwe is a dynamic and diverse group of students hailing from various schools across the nation. Coming together every weekend, these passionate young individuals are united by a common goal: to elevate the Zimbabwean flag on the global stage. Our team is deeply committed to the dual focus of mastering robotics and honing media presentation skills. But more than just building robots, we believe in the transformative power of this experience. As we face the challenges and triumphs of our robotics journey, we embrace the ethos that “it’s not kids building robots, but robots building kids.” Each obstacle we overcome and every milestone we achieve is shaping us into better individuals and future leaders. Through our shared dedication and collaboration, Team Zimbabwe is not only advancing in technology but also growing personally and professionally, preparing to make a positive impact in the world.

Hi, I’m Harry Garwe, a grade 10 pupil from Tynwald High school aged 16. From a young age, I’ve had a keen interest in technology and art particularly in the observational drawing and building of the robots themselves. While I enjoy coding, drawing and playing video games it’s the hands-on aspect of constructing robots that truly excites me. I’m thrilled to be part of this prestigious event, eager to showcase my abilities and learn from the best in the field and communicate and learn more from my fellow competitors as they share their ways and cultures so that I can learn more about the many places that I may visit in my life. With a combination of technical expertise and a creative mind, I hope to make a significant impact in the world through the use of robotics and new gen technology.
